Honest opinion survey
Okay, I've always wanted a non-traditional engagement ring. I'm drawn to really intricate bands and I like the idea of having color. I've hinted to Tyler that I really like aquamarine because it's a super light blue stone, almost like a diamond with a hint of blue.
Then a while ago I heard there is something called "chocolate" diamonds-- yeah, sign me up. I'm down.
Well I found this ring at Kay with an oval aquamarine *(did I mention I love oval cut gems?)* and a funky band WITH chocolate diamonds! Awesome right? Tyler thinks it gross-- says it reminds him of a wrestling heavy weight belt :( Sad moo. I think it's fun.
Honest thoughts?
PS: Just in case you were wondering, I'm not engaged and to my knowledge Tyler's not planning-- I'm just looking at pretty jewelry.

yeah... i'm with tyler on this one. minus the chocolate diamonds i think it's a winner.
Yeah- I think so too, maybe without the chocolate dimaonds... :)
you know at zales.com you can design your own ring?
Mitch and I went ring shopping awhile ago, and he told me to pick out three rings without looking at the price tag. I picked out one that was $2000, one that was $7000 and one that was $700. You can guess which one Mitch thought was 'prettiest.' ;)
Oh girl-- I can honeslty say that I laughed out loud at that. You guys are so cute. It really does make me happy that he found you. He needs a good woman. And he is a good guy-- even if he does go for the cheapie ring (who wouldn't). That's why I thought Tyler would go for this ring-- it was $600 on sale.
But I'm kinda looking at it now and seeing his point. I am all over this zales thing. I love it!
Besides I found a different oval aqaumarine with a plain white gold band and some small side diamonds. Much more simple and pretty.
I'd have to say no to the chocolate diamonds too. Otherwise it's veyr very pretty.
and by 'veyr' I meant 'very'
