Winter is funny

It's been below zero for a few days now. I forgot how much that hurts-- physically. I hop in my car and race to turn it on. Today I got in after work and shoved my key in and turned and cranked my heat in .01 seconds. Then I tried to move my mittened-hand to the steering wheel.

It wouldn't move.

Turned out, in my haste, I had shoved my key through my knit mitten, so my hand was physically attached to the key. I actually held it there too until the car warmed up. That's how pathetic it was.

Just sitting there for 10 minutes with my hand stuck holding my key in the ignition.

I have no shame.

It makes me feel better to hear you say you don't like the cold. Mitch must have some weird Scandinavian gene/mutation. He can't WAIT to move back and be in below zero weather. It's only snowed here once and he walks around all day like a puppy that has been kicked. I told him I'm only moving to North Dakota if he gets me a heated garage and a car with an automatic start. :)

That's so disgusting. I'm not even wearing a jacket here. I can't believe I'm coming home to that. YAY
