She seems evil here and well, she is but I love her. Her whole CD rocks.

My fave song she does is "everything's just wonderful" -- where according to the lyrics, life is NOT wonderful--

I'm currently baking a cake and am really proud of myself. I'm baking. Never mind it came out of box.

On Friday I leave for Eureka and Tyler is coming! Big excitement. Hope the family loves him as much as I do-- of course they will. Hopefully the weather will quit sucking for the trip. We got 6 inches of snow here in the first week of April. I believe that is the very definition of a SHIT STORM.

My jobs are still good however stressful. I spoke to some more juvies today. We talked about the culture that tells them they have to be hyper-masculine and even violent to be "cool" or a "real" man. They tell me they've never noticed this message. Meanwhile they're sitting in a tough guy pose and bullying the little guy next to them (*bash head into wall*). Sometimes I just wish I had more time with these kids. I feel like most of them are just covering up for their true scared selves.

Gonna go now and watch "The Departed" with Tyler.
